Japanese artist Yoshikazu Takai began his career creating monumental sculptures installed in public spaces across the country. After years of working on large-scale pieces, he turned his attention to everyday objects and founded the TETZBO brand. Under this name, he crafts finely made writing instruments that still reflect his sculptor’s approach to form. Each piece is the result of meticulous handwork, intentional “imperfections,” and a deep sensitivity to materials.
